Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Dream Machine handles information through the Dream Machine Chrome extension and the Dream Machine dashboard at thedreammachine.io. Dream Machine is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DraftKings or Underdog Sports.

Information the extension handles

When you use Dream Machine on a supported DraftKings or Underdog Sports draft page, the extension may read and process:

• Draft-room content and activity: draft identifiers, contest and draft state, player information, picks, rosters, draft order, timing information, participant names displayed in the room, and related supported-site page or network-response data needed to operate the draft companion.
• Your settings: overlay preferences, contest profile, recommendation and ranking weights, display choices, custom rankings, player aliases, capital targets, and similar configuration.
• Optional draft-site username: if you provide it, Dream Machine uses it to identify your draft slot when the username appears in a supported draft room.
• Optional player-exposure data: when you open DraftKings My Lineups through the exposure link, Dream Machine reads the player names, positions, teams, and percentages displayed in the My Player Exposure panel and stores them locally in Chrome for overlay and recommendation use.
• Temporary operational data: cached draft or market state and timestamps used to keep the extension synchronized and functioning during a draft.
• Authenticated scoring snapshots: when signed in, structured draft-state payloads used to request recommendations, warnings, capital plans, and finished-draft grades from Dream Machine’s scoring API.

The extension is limited to the DraftKings, Underdog Sports, and Dream Machine website addresses and services declared in its Chrome permissions. It does not use this access to monitor unrelated websites.

How extension information is used

Dream Machine uses this information only to provide its user-facing features, including board awareness, roster-shape guidance, rankings, stacking analysis, recommendations, settings synchronization, and reliability of those features.

Draft-room content is read on your device. When you are signed in to a Dream Machine account and use recommendations or draft grades, the extension may send a sanitized draft snapshot (structured player names, positions, teams, pick numbers, ranking inputs, roster shape, and related settings) to Dream Machine servers so proprietary scoring can run remotely. Dream Machine does not collect raw DraftKings or Underdog Sports HTML or full network-response dumps. Optional player-exposure percentages from DraftKings My Lineups remain stored locally in Chrome unless you later opt into cloud sync for that data.

Local and Chrome storage

Most extension information is stored on your device using Chrome local storage, the browser's local or session storage, or in memory. Certain general preferences are stored using Chrome synchronized storage and may be synchronized across browsers by Google when Chrome Sync is enabled for your Google account. Google handles synchronized information under Google's own privacy terms.

You can remove extension data by clearing the relevant browser storage or uninstalling the extension. Information synchronized by Chrome may also need to be removed through your Chrome or Google account controls.

Optional dashboard account and cloud settings

You do not need a Dream Machine dashboard account to use the extension's local features. If you choose to create an account or use cloud settings, Dream Machine may handle:

• Your email address and authentication records;
• Your optional draft-site username;
• Your custom ranking sets and labels;
• Your draft-capital targets and exported settings; and
• Account, settings-update, and authentication timestamps.

The dashboard also keeps a copy of settings in that browser's local storage. Uploaded ranking files are read in your browser. Their parsed ranking content is stored in the cloud only when you are logged in and choose to save settings to the cloud.

Passwords are handled through Supabase authentication. Dream Machine does not receive or store plaintext passwords in its own database.

Service providers and disclosures

Dream Machine does not sell personal information. Information may be handled by the following providers only as needed to operate the extension and dashboard:

• Google: Chrome Web Store distribution, optional Chrome synchronized storage, and Google Analytics on thedreammachine.io (page views and ordinary usage metrics).
• Supabase: account authentication and cloud storage of user settings.
• Hosting infrastructure: delivery of the Dream Machine dashboard and privacy page.
• Render: hosting of the Dream Machine scoring API used for authenticated recommendations and draft grades.
• jsDelivr: delivery of the Supabase software library used by the dashboard.
• DraftKings: the extension interacts with DraftKings pages and services at your direction; DraftKings independently handles information under its own policies.
• Underdog Sports: the extension interacts with Underdog Sports pages and services at your direction; Underdog Sports independently handles information under its own policies.

These providers may receive ordinary technical information, such as an IP address, browser information, request time, and requested URL, when your browser connects to their services. Dream Machine may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service from fraud or security threats, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets subject to applicable law and required user notice or consent.

Data retention and deletion

Local extension and dashboard information remains until you clear it or uninstall the extension. Cloud settings and account information remain while your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, or protect the service.

You may request access to or deletion of your Dream Machine cloud account and saved settings by emailing support@thedreammachine.io. A request may require account verification. Deleting cloud information does not automatically remove copies stored locally in your browsers.

Security

Dream Machine uses HTTPS for dashboard and service-provider connections and uses access controls intended to limit cloud settings to the authenticated account that owns them. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Prohibited uses of information

Dream Machine does not use or transfer user information for personalized advertising, creditworthiness, lending decisions, or sale to data brokers. It does not permit humans to read private user information except with the user's specific consent, when necessary for security or support, when required by law, or in an aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations.

Children

Dream Machine is not directed to children under 18, and the service is not intended to facilitate participation in fantasy sports or wagering by anyone who is not legally permitted to do so.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Dream Machine's features or data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by revising the effective date and, when appropriate, providing additional notice through the extension, dashboard, or Chrome Web Store listing.
